The Georgia Southern Men’s Hockey program continues to take major steps forward as it builds its presence within collegiate hockey. Last season, the Eagles joined the Atlantic Coast Conference Hockey League (ACCHL) for the first time, competing in AAU Division 3 and establishing themselves as a new member of the league. The move provided the program with an opportunity to compete against new opponents, gain valuable experience, and continue growing both on and off the ice. After a successful first season in the ACCHL, Georgia Southern is taking another step forward in 2026–27, moving up from Division 3 to Division 2A. The promotion is a reflection of the program’s continued development and the hard work of its players, coaches, and staff. As the Eagles enter their second season in the ACCHL, they are ready to embrace the challenge of Division 2 hockey and continue building Georgia Southern into a competitive and growing collegiate hockey program.
